Student Organizations
Student Government Association
Student Government Association is an organization dedicated to serving as the voice for students. We serve as a facilitator of communication between the upper administration and the student body. My journey with SGA has allowed me to make many connections with both students and faculty alike. In addition, it has led to me pursuing my most current role as Student Body President.

Lamar Pre-Dental Society
As a hopeful pre-dental student looking to become a dentist in the future, I found it vital to be a part of the Pre-Dental society here on campus. In this organization, we focus on skills to prepare for the DAT exam, application for Dental school, interviews, and of course taking an active role in our community. One of those activities would include teaching the importance of dental hygiene to elementary students.

Honors Students Association (HSA)
With taking Honors classes at Lamar University, I found it important to be a part of the HSA. HSA has allowed me to be part of a community of students who are dedicated to going beyond the "average". Not only have I've been able to meet new students, but I have also been able to take part in variety of events. Whether it is bettering our community, or being part of the Intramural Sports team, the HSA has much to offer.

Model United Nations
Since elementary school, I have always had a strong passion in public speaking. Being able to express my voice to others, always gave me a sense of happiness. Whether it is informing someone on a particular topic, or persuading the listener to have similar views, I have always had a blast competing in these events. It was important for me to continue this passion here at Lamar University. Model UN has allowed me to stay on top of global issues and learn about how diplomacy really works.
